Pat Swanson Joins Colliers International’s Greater Los Angeles Operations

 IRVINE, Calif. (April 27, 2009) –Pat Swanson has joined Colliers International’s Greater Los Angeles operations as a vice president in the firm’s multifamily investment services group. Swanson will serve his private and institutional investor clients from Colliers’ Irvine office.

Previously, Swanson was a multifamily advisor with Sperry Van Ness’ Irvine office where he was one of the firm’s top multifamily brokers in the country for several years in a row. In 2008, he ranked fourth among all multifamily brokers nationwide. Swanson’s nearly decade-long career started in 1999.

“With its growing investment platform, I saw joining Colliers as a strong professional and personal opportunity in the multifamily arena of commercial real estate,” said Swanson. “Colliers International’s platform coupled with its local marketing and research capabilities will leverage my ability to deliver the best market knowledge available to my clients.”

According to Swanson, “In the current market landscape, my goal is to deliver the most accurate, up-to-date and cutting edge knowledge to my clients and guide them to make smart and profitable long-term investment decisions in the multifamily sector of commercial real estate.”

Swanson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of Southern California. He was an intercollegiate athlete and was a three-year starter for the Trojans football team.

In his spare time, Swanson is a philanthropist for Light the Night, a fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma Research, for which he served as team captain the last four years. He was also involved with Swim with Mike, a charity fundraiser for handicapped children, and was a volunteer for the Special Olympics.
